Water play and spinning reccomendations?
« on: April/17/07 03:53:11 GMT+8 »
Our school is looking to upgrade its outdoor play space.  We are looking for some good water/sand play as well as swingin/spinning options.  Our space is limited so we have to stay with contained units, particularly with respect to any swinging/spinning products.  I would love to hear back from anyone with success stories about products they have installed.  Thank you!

I like the Gametime whirlwind and mini sky runner.  The Playcraft Systems spinner is good, as is the Bigtoys spinning thing (I can't remember its name).  The other cool thing that BigToys has is a snowboard on springs (can't remember it's name either).  Having enjoyed skateboarding, skiing, surfing, and snowboarding, personally, I was surprised at how lifelike the thing is.  It's motion and action is smooth.  BigToys is deceptively simple that way.  is a great stand alone activity for the 5-12 age group.  Hope that helps,

You may want to check the miracle catalog,  they have a product called a sky wheel and also for the mvoing objects check out a website xccent.  They have some NEAT new products the website is www.xccent.biz and go to the playmotion section
